November 16-29
In this two-week period, the ambulance responded to 37 calls for medical assistance, to Swarthmore, Rutledge, Morton, Springfield, Nether Providence Township, and Ridley Township. The calls were for a variety of emergencies, including respiratory emergency, head injury, seizures, cardiac arrest, and hypotension (COVID-19).
In addition, the fire company responded to:
One structure fire on the 600 block of W. Brookhaven Road in Nether Providence Township (smoke in a bedroom).
One automobile alarm at the intersection of Providence Road and Bullens Lane in Nether Providence Township for an accident with injuries.
Six automatic fire alarms.
Three hazmat alarms.
One alarm on the 700 block of Harvard Avenue in Swarthmore for a smoke investigation.
Eight mutual aid calls to Morton, Springfield Township, and Nether Providence Township.
