Shout-out to the Co-op

To the Editor,

From early March until late June, we did not step foot into a grocery store. Due to the selfless volunteers and hard-working staff at the Swarthmore Co-op, our family took advantage of the curbside pick-up option on a weekly basis. For us, between working full time and taking care of our baby, the time this saved us, and the reduced exposure risk it provided us, was a lifeline. We are so thankful to the many neighborhood volunteers who filled our orders, and appreciate Mike, Holly, and the rest of the fabulous team for always rising to the occasion to keep our community safe and fed.
